Accommodation
Housing
The Boca Raton campus is home to more than 4,000 on-campus residents in nine apartment and suite-style residence halls. The University delivers impactful, residence hall-based programming through which students develop skills for lifelong learning.
We are excited to welcome you to FAU! You must be admitted to FAU and have paid your tuition deposit prior to applying for housing. We recommend applying early as space is limited and the demand for housing is high. The 1st year live on requirement for students outside of 30 miles has been suspended starting spring 2023. This does not apply to students attending the Wilkes Honors College. All first year students attending the Boca Raton campus are not required to live on-campus.
We are no longer accepting housing contracts for Fall 2023 – Spring 2024 for the Boca Raton campus. Students interested in on-campus housing may complete the housing interest form, however this is not a guarantee to receive on-campus housing. The housing interest form will close on June 9 at 12 p.m.
Dining
FAU’s Dining Services serves students, faculty, staff and visitors through 16 dining locations, including Pizza Hut, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Pollo Tropical and Subway. FAU is committed to offering a wide range of options for students seeking well-balanced meals. Menu and nutrition information for all locations can be found online
Health & Wellness
Understanding that health and wellness are vital to academic success, FAU offers a wide range of resources including award-winning peer education and health promotion programs. In addition to its facilities and classes, Campus Rec hosts intramural and club sports, as well as an outdoor adventures program that takes students on excursions throughout the country.
